  18. with easy to use controls for manipulation of all aspects of the design,

  36. System Requirements for v2

  39. The minimum system requirements for running the Holographic Screen
  40. Saver v2 are
  41.  
  42. -> Pentium II 233MHz or Higher
  43. -> 32Mb Ram
  44. -> DirectX 5.0 or later and a CD-ROM drive for Music response
  45. -> Windows 95/98/NT4(with service pack 3.0)/2000
  46. -> Mouse

  48. Recommended system requirements (just differences noted)-
  49.  
  50. -> Pentium II 350MHz
  51. -> 64Mb Ram
  52.  
  53. The programs memory usage and speed is highly dependent on the current
  54. display mode that it runs in. If you notice the program running poorly,
  55. close the program and switch to a lower video mode. Often this will
  56. speed the program up considerably.

  69. - Fixed a minor bug that caused the screen saver to incorrectly report
  70.   that the program needed to be re-installed.

  74. Instructions for Installation and Removal
  75. ------------------------------------------------------------------------

  77. * If you are upgrading from a previous version of the Holographic Screen
  78. Saver, you will need to un-install the previous version first. If you
  79. wish to save your designs, you will need to copy the file holossv2.dat
  80. to another directory, install v2.13, then copy the file back to the
  81. new directory. When asked if you'd like to overwrite the file, say Yes.

  83. To Install the Holographic Screen Saver, follow these steps-
  84.  
  85. 1. Using a program like WinZip or PKUnzip, extract the contents of
  86.    the file holossv213.zip into a temporary folder. Visit our links page
  87.    for a link to WinZip at http://www.virtual-creations.com/links.html
  88. 2. When the program is finished extracting, run the newly extracted
  89.    file named Setup.exe.
  90. 3. Setup.exe will guide you through the installation process.
  91.  
  92. *Note...If while running Setup.exe you get a message that you will need
  93. to restart your computer to continue, you will have to restart and run
  94. Setup.exe again. This is because the Setup.exe program requires some of
  95. its own files to run.

  97. To Remove the Holographic Screen Saver, follow these steps-
  98.  
  99. 1. In your Control Panel, click Add Remove Programs.
  100. 2. Scroll down the list of files until you find the Holographic Screen
  101.    Saver. Select it and click OK.
  102. 3. You will be guided through the process of removing the program.
